Americana: CDEXTRA Ringing

I'm getting a high-pitched ringing when I play the cdextra on Americana. I have a 400Mhz celeron w/win98, 64MRAM, 40X Max cd-rom, and a SB 16 soundcard, plus the latest version of QT. I have no troubles when I play the audio only. What's the deal?
